Academy , Shama Chowk, Ferozepur Road, Lahore. Demonstrations of mass casualties due to explosion & fire, rescue & emergency management of victims and fire fighting was also arranged on this occasion. Chief Guest of the ceremony was senior advisor to Chief Minister Punjab, Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Khan Khosa, while other guests included Matt Loowei Principle councilor General (USA), Syed Zaeem Hussain Qadri (MPA), Mr. Allah Rakha MPA and Rai Aslam Khan Kharal (MPA).The emergency staff was recruited & trained for the remaining districts of Punjab, which include Jhang, Toba Tek Singh, Muzafargarh, Rajanpur, Mianwali, Pakpattan, Kasur, Gujrat, Bahawalnagar, Jehlum, Attock and Khanewal. The cadets have been given specialized trade specific training which include rescue, emergency medical treatment and fire fighting. Although quality training of such a large number of rescuers with limited resources was a gigantic task, but the same has been achieved through close monitoring and weekly tests. Before final posting, the emergency staff would now move on to the emergency departments of teaching hospitals for better liaison and to understand the patients shifting protocol. Specialized training courses were arranged for officer in the fields of communication, Medical First Responder (MFR), Collapsed Structure Search and Rescue (CSSR) and Incident Command System. Chief Guest of the ceremony senior advisor to Chief Minister Punjab, Sardar Zulfiqar Ali Khan Khosa congratulated the passed out rescuers and appreciated the leader ship of Dr. Rizwan Naseer founder Director General of Rescue 1122. I will take to the Chief Minister Punjab for regularization of this disciplined force, he further added. Punjab Emergency Service (Rescue 1122) Director General Dr. Rizwan Naseer congratulated the rescuers passed out for 12 cities of
Punjab and asked them to work day and night to maintain the internationally acknowledged standard of the service in their respective district. He further said that capacity building of trainers is also been done on regular basis to ensure the quality of the training and the Service would soon be running internationally certified courses in ESA with international collaboration. It is this quality training which has made this Service a model of Emergency & Disaster Management for the SARCC countries as well. Looking at the increased number of Fire & Building collapse incidents, we need to work for prevention of emergencies so that we can built a Safer Pakistan, he further added.
